Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

Tartaria Britannica respects the privacy of every reader and member of our community. From time to time, someone may wish to remove the personal information they have shared with us. This page explains how that process works and how to contact us if you would like your data deleted.

This applies to visitors who engage with the site, create accounts, leave comments, subscribe to newsletters, or connect through social platforms and publishing tools such as Facebook and FS Poster.

What “data deletion” means

When you request data deletion, we review the information associated with your account or email address and remove what is held in our systems where possible and lawful to do so.

  • comments connected to your account
  • newsletter subscription records
  • data linked through Facebook or other integrations

Certain information may be retained where there is a legal requirement, security concern, or record-keeping obligation. In those cases, anything retained is minimized and safeguarded.
