The Franco-British Exposition went from May to October 1908, and was the first of five major international exhibitions to be held in West London at the White City complex, which later gave its name to the area.
Over 8 million people attended over the course of the exhibition, including 123,000 people on the first day. The opening ceremony was commenced in the rain.
Mainstream history tells us all of these immaculate structures and engineering marvels were simply made temporarily for the exposition, however I believe the truth of these structures is far different than what we have been told.
